I hope this finds everyone doing well and staying cool!!! Man has it been hot! Not this hot since the year my mom was born in 36.
I have 2 cards to share with you today. I hope you like them.
But first, I wanted to do something special for you guys. You've been so sweet and kind to me. With my limited time on the computer you are still with me and you don't know how much I appreciate that. I haven't gotten to any blogs in so long and I hate that. I so miss the incentive and the love!!!! Seems my priority anymore is a 2 hour nap, daily. Seriously.
So I have some blog candy for you as my thank you. It's a spring release from Memory Box, Twirling Vine Frame Die. You can see how I used this die below in card #2.
Twirling Vine Frame (98299) 4 x 5.1 inches
© 2012 Memory Box
To win, leave me a comment (include your email) on this post and tell me what your favorite color combo is. My fav is still any color done in monochromatic tones.
You can comment now thru Saturday, June 7th at Midnight CST. I'll draw the winner thru Random.org on Sunday and mail your Trailing Vine Frame Die to you on Monday. Be sure to include your email in your comment so I can get your mailing address right away.
On to the two cards I have to share with you today.
I created this pink card by stamping the background image twice, onto white cardstock and embossing with clear detail embossing powder. I then colored over the the first image with TH Distress Inkpad in Spun Sugar using a large dauber. With the second image I cut out the flower and leaves, coloring it in with smaller daubers. Spun Sugar and Shabby Shutters for the leaves.
My Pretty in Pink bow matches perfectly!!! I love it when that happens. I used an EK Success Butterfly Punch and Hero Arts Large Flower Background Stamp, CG403. ![]()
This is one my favorites cards to make, white on white. Don't ya love that Trailing Vine Frame. Its so fun. If you get one or win my blog candy, just be careful releasing it from the die so you don't stretch it out of shape. It comes out really easy though, just don't pull it all out of the die from one side.
I also used Martha's 3 in 1 Butterfly and Rose Leaf Punches. Punch Bunch Large and Medium Cherry Blossom Punches along with the Small and Micro/Tiny Sun Punch.
I'm having a class this Saturday for the White on White Card and the Cherry Blossom Tag. The tag uses the same Cherry Blossom Punches, adding the Starburst punch from McGill. The branch is the Grove Branch from Memory Box. The tag is a die from Die-Namics (All My Favorite Things) The Cherry Blossoms are punched from Vellum.
I'll be back on Sunday with the winner. I wish you could all win. I would so love that. ![]()

I also tend to pull a blue of any shade when I make cards. I went through several packs of SU! soft sky (with crisp white)and then cried when they discontinued it!

Carla all 3 of the cards and the tag are so pretty. I love white on white and tend to make those often but I would say I use pink and blue on most every card I make. Not together just one or the other.
I have not seen an update for sometime from you but I have been out of the loop. I had major back surgery 9 days ago. So I won't be able to make cards for quite some time yet. I always enjoy your blog.
Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy.
