I'm gettin' a tad tired of flowers and butterflies, so I decided to add a few dragonflies to my card today.
I colored in the Impression Obsession Dragonfly with colored pencils. The purple dragonfly, I added a bit of Smooch Illuminate to the wings. The blue one has a bit of fine glitter and the orange one is plain. I ended up liking the orange dragonfly the best.
I auditioned the flower placement and glued them down using Tomboy Clear Adhesive. Then, after they dried and I took the pictures, I wish I would of spread out the flowers more. Not real fond of how tightly fit they are. I think a loosely spread out arrangement would have been more natural looking with the dragonflies.
The card is a little more colorful in person, I hope this isn't a sign that I have to read my camera manual again…
I hope you liked my card and get a bit of incentive today. I so thank you for your visit today and I do have a couple posts for next week… I'm so proud of myself. lol I'm really trying hard to do better, it just doesn't go my way most times.
