Baja Breeze with Tangerine Tango

Well, today is another day at the Bazhenow household.  Busy, busy, busy.  Mom got pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital right after Christmas and got home on Jan 1.  It zapped her as she has COPD.  Doctor's say she'll be fine.  Just gonna be a slow process.  She even needed 2 units of blood.  Never did find out why at the hospital, but we go back to the doctor next week, hopefully he'll have an answer.  Its weird, cause the same thing happened when she got pneumonia a few years back.  Any idea's you knowledgeable bloggers?

I truly thought I was going to hit the new year blogging and surfing.  Not to be.  But, I'm here today and this card was created in the middle of my Christmas Cards.

I bought a new die from Memory Box, Amira FlourishI love the shape and the stylish flourish.  For some reason it seems to cut better in the Big Shot than the Cuddlebug.  Just do a Google search for the above and you'll find tons of places you can purchase.  I don't remember where I got mine, it was online.

Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, Flowers, Feminine, Stampin UP, Carla's Scraps (2)

My ribbon for the bow is from Michaels and the tag punch is Martha's.  I have no idea what SU DSP paper this is.  lol  Too lazy to go look, too.

Well, I'd better keep a move on.  I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year celebration and are keeping your new years resolutions.  I'm so not.

I wish you'd stop it!! All these fabulous creations are costing me a FORTUNE!! Gotta get this die now Carla. Of course MY pathetic offering won't be anywhere NEAR as gorgeous as yours, but HEY! I can have fun trying, can't I. lol
I hope Mum recoveres quickly Carla. It must have put a right royal dampner on the Christmas cheer thing!
No idea why she'd need the blood. Can only hazzard a guess. Maybe ahe was really anaemic and that allowed the pneumonia to take hold and going into hospital showed the anaemia up?
Ok, enough whittering from me. LOVE THE CARD!!! xxx

Your cards are just to die for! You really put a lot of creativity into them! Sorry about your Mom, but will pray the recovery is quick. Just remember to take it slow, don't need you to get sick!

Happy New Year Carla!
Sorry to hear about your mom, and make sure she takes it slow. Slow recoveries are sometimes the best. Make sure you take care of yourself also. ;o)
Gorgeous card ~ LOVE that die but I don't see it hitting my craftroom for quite some time. Hubby put me on a tight budget for the New Year. Need to use what I have ... no more stashing products.
