Punch Art Flowers

Edited to add Hydrangea Tutorial link:   Hydrangea / Lilac Tutorial
Okay, I want you to guess what my inspiration was for this card.  I'll give you a hint… look up at the top part of your monitor… do you see it?  Okay, look up one more time… its my blog header and sidebar pretties.  lol
Here's my Punch Art Flowers card…
Punch Art Flowers, Charms, Stick Pin, White, Ribbon, Carla's Scraps (10)

Did you notice my colors in my pictures… they are the actual colors of the card.  I am so proud.  I actually read, not skimmed my camera manual.  Low light conditions in my camera equal the Museum Setting.  Then after I selected Museum, it let me choose the light bulbs I have in my studio.  Who'd of thought.  I don't even need sunshine coming thru my window.  I decided to buy a new camera, then I thought no, lets read the manual one more time.  So like a man, when all else fails read, don't skim.
I hope my card inspires you today.  Here's the supplies if you'd like to create one like it.

Quick n Easy with Beau Chateau

I created this card while I was doing this one, the one with lace flower.  I knew this would be the perfect card for me to speckle with the Color Spritzer Tool.  Oh it was cool.  I really enjoyed playing with that tool.  I've had it for a year now and this was the first time I speckled good enough to keep the image.

I don't know why, but I really like this DSP.  My card size is 6X3 and its fits in the SU Small Open End Envelope or you can create your own with my Punched Envelope Flap Tutorial.

I speckled over Birthday wishes…

I was going to speckle the inside, then decided I'd just better leave well enough alone.  Hope this card inspires you today or heck, just case it.  *smile*  I don't mind that at all.

Upcoming:  I got an email recently mentioning my truck cards and how she liked them.  So I've pulled out Countryside and we'll see what I come up with.  Its such a cool fall set and one of my favorites.  I could of easily forgotten about it without her email.

Flowers 'n Lace with a new Base… lol

I love to find new card base styles, you know, like the gate fold and such.  I found this one on the Great Impressions Stamp of the Month board at work.  The card base is 6 1/2 across by 5 1/4 tall, scored at 2 1/2.  It fits your Medium SU Envelopes or any A-2 envelope perfectly.  Of course mine doesn't as I added Mulberry Flowers to mine.  So I popped mine in a clear box.

Here's the card I was telling you about a week or so ago.  I used Graphic 45 papers, from the Baby and Bride Collection, called Endless Love.  It's a peachy color, that of course my photo taking skills doesn't show.

I created a little belly band to hide the flowers so they were a surprise to the recipient, when opened.

and of course the inside.  The little lonely flower on the right is what keeps the front closed.  It tucks right in with the flowers on top.

Mulberry Flowers, MS Butterfly, Graphic 45, Sincere Salutations, Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Carla's Scraps (4)

My supplies were so easy today…  I used the MS Butterfly Punch, Whisper White Cardstock, SU Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Paper, Lace, Pearls and Mulberry Flowers from my stash.  I will finish the inside specifically for whoever I give this too.  I have an upcoming wedding, so it might go to her.

Thru my blog visiting, I've seen so many soft, gorgeous cards and they were all my inspiration!  So thank you!  Its Labor Day here in the U.S. and I hope everyone has an awesome day!!

Upcoming:  I have my Alligator card done and I will be posting it soon.  It turned out so cute.  I've been thinking of what to do for my Christmas Cards this year and I ended up buying 3 new dies.  I hope to get some samples made soon.  I'll probably skip right over Halloween as I can't find any pumpkin stamps I like.  Maybe I'll just look thru my stash and see if I have any good oldies.
