Sweet n Sour Valentine

Well, I’ve mentioned it enough... *smile* here it is.  I’m sending this one to Judy a friend of mine, who didn’t get a Christmas Card from me this year.  She sent us one, so I thought I’d surprise her with a Valentine.

and here’s the one I created just like it, but with Love Impressions DSP.  You’ll remember it from the Pals Hop a couple weeks back. 

Well I hope you like.  My Valentines are all finished.  I should of made a manly one for Steve, but I really doubt I will get one from him.  Maybe we’ll just shake hands this year.  Its not like we haven’t done that before.  *smile*  I’m thinkin’ that could be why I don’t get many cards, I should of never let him get away with that the first time.

Paper Players 31 Sketch Challenge

I thought I’d take some time this morning to play with the Papers Players.  I promised myself I’d do more challenges this year and this makes 2.  *smile*  I used colors suggested by Color Coach. 

Here’s the sketch...

The colors are So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Rose Red.  Sorry the picture isn’t as bright as the card... the green looks like Always Artichoke, but its really Wild Wasabi.  But that’s what I get for rushing around this morning.

Ice Cream Parlor and PPA Sneak Peek

Here’s a fun card I created.  I took it right from the SAB, of course adding my touches. 

For the inside, I wanted the DSP to show thru so I stamped on clear cardstock with Stazon.  I punched a hole in each corner of the Clear Cardstock, placed it where I wanted it to go and then placed a clear dot in each hole and then placed my button on top.   

A tip for ya... when having your embellishments stick beyond you’re A-2 sized card, (4 1/4 by 5 1/2) be sure to place them so your card will fit in an SU Medium Square Envelope.  Mine just misses.  Just lay your card on top of a Med. Square Envelope and then add the embellishment, in my case the flower.

Sweet ‘n Sour with Night of Navy

I love navy and orange together.  So I thought I’d try it on a card.  Mom didn’t say a word when I showed her.  So, I’m thinking’ not a good thing here.  But, I do like it.  I’m a fan of contrast.

One more Valentine Card

Here’s another Valentine I made using the DSP in the Occasions Mini.  This is all pink, gray and white.  I love the card, but I sure couldn’t get the pink to photograph well.  Mary? 

I really prefer Red Valentines, but the pink is the Love Impressions DSP is pretty cool.  I hope you like it too.

The center of the bottom row of hearts was punched with the Heart of Hearts Punch, centering over a little white heart on the DSP.   The background heart is the Small Heart Punch.   I stamped the Be My Valentine Heart in Basic Gray and cut out the banner.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  I wish it would of photographed better.  I just couldn’t make it happen.  This card is for my Paige.  *smile*

         Well, I’m just as happy now, as I was then!!!  I love you!!!

I actually do have a better one, but he is holding up a finger at me and I thought I’d better not post that one.  Oh would I love too though.

Okay... here we go.  What can I tell ya...

1. I lost my phone once.  I won’t do that again, I will be more aware of what I’m doing.  My friend, Pam had called me while I was making plans to make some calls.  As we were talking, I kept going up stairs and looking around, and then back down stairs and looking around.  I did this 3 or 4 times.   Mom finally said, “what are you looking for”?  I said, “My phone!!!”  Pam said, “aren’t you talking to me on it”? 
2. I have over 500 pictures of Yogi and the Kids and only one of me saved to my computer.
3. The house we currently live in was built in the 1850’s.  I am so not fond of it.  The good thing about it, if you don’t care too much about something, you don’t sweat it if it ain’t that clean.  Which means more time for stampin!!!  Good thing we did move!!!
4. If I need 2 of something, I will buy an extra just in case.
5. I don’t like talking on the phone.     
6. I am always for the underdog!!! and
7. I want everyone to have success in something they enjoy!!!

Well, enough about me. 

Here’s my PPA Sneak Peek!!!

I can tell you its an Anniversary Card and that’s all.  *smile*  I’m giving it to hubby on our Anniversary.  Yes, its pink.  A couple years back, I bought a new shirt to wear on Christmas and it was pink.  So I thought, pictures will be taken, Steve needs a pink shirt too.  If you knew Steve, you’d know pink is not for him.  But I have to say he wore it.  I was so proud.  But he’s never wore it since and when I recently ask about it, he said he wouldn’t wear it again!  Anyway a month or so went by and I was talking to Tommy (my cat) last week as Steve and I were discussing what time we’d leave for supper.  I told Tommy, that maybe his daddy would comb his hair and wear the awesome pink shirt we bought him a couple years back.  I was shocked when he entered the kitchen hair combed and dressed in his pink shirt.  My first thought, a man with guilty conscience/conscious.  What would you think?
