I took a class at work with Elaine Benedict and she taught us all about Dreamweaver Stencils and I fell in love. I've always searched for different backgrounds to try and this is my most favorite one I've found, although not the quickest. You need to let it dry a couple hours first, but I let mine dry overnight, just in case. I've put my finger into wet things before and of course ruined all my work.
This card is using the Petals Background Stencil and Glossy White Embossing Paste.
I colored in my downloaded digital images using Copics and snipped them out. I truly didn't think they'd turn out or I would of wrote down the colors I used. I'll keep track from now on for you Copic users. Even though, you are so much more experienced in them than me. This is the first image I've kept that I've colored using Copics.
I have started working on my Christmas Cards. I'm doing the images first, then the layers and then the embellishments. I want them all done at once this year. I'm stampin and coloring some and using glitter and peel off stickers on others. I'm sure I'll see some online to inspire me. Plus, I have 3 new dies to use, a lamp post, a a small fence and a Christmas tree. What's in my mind sure isn't coming out on paper.
I'm tickled you liked my Halloween mask, it was so fun to make. If you missed it, its below this post.
Oh,the gems on my card are from the Hero Hues line from Hero Arts the Satin Ribbon is SU's.
Where on earth does the time go? I don't know how most of you gals do it.
Upcoming: I have a flower nearly ready. I also have a few cards to show you from classes I took at work. Then one of the gals makes Scrapbook pages for display at work and she challenged me to make a card using her scraps, so I have that card and page coming soon, too. So you'll be seeing me for awhile. lol
Noteworthy: All my Tutorials are clickable and ready to print and enjoy!

Carla, the flowers are so beautiful. Awesome coloring job. Love the matching bling.
Carla, this daisy card is fabulous you did an outstanding coloring job with the Copic markers, something I haven't had much luck with.
Can't wait to see more.
Carla, this is such a pretty card! I used to do a lot of dry embossing with Dreamweaver and Lasting Impressions stencils. And I've done embossing with paste but not embossed a background with paste. Love this card!!!!
This is a gorgeous card. It looks like a lot of work, but it certainly produced an amazing creation. Simply gorgeous!
this is really a pretty card Carla-love your flower images and the colroing is fantatic
Carla this is magnificant! LOVE the colors..gorgeous. The background is stunning. I tried it once but without much luck. Guess I'll have to try again (i'm so impatient though)....Hugs.

Gorgeous card, Carla! You may be inspiring me to get out my Dreamweaver stencils I haven't used in years and try some of this embossing with the paste. Sure wish I could take a class with Elaine.
Wowza, Carla! This is absolutely gorgeous! I love how the rich colors just pop off the white background. That embossing is fantastic. So much detail in the shading on the flowers, too. :)
This is just gorgeous Carla - makes me want to dig out my stencilling supplies and use them! Love your shading of the daisies - looks perfect to me - I love the Copics but am no means an expert on them!
Carla, Your card is stunning! I love the background and the gorgeous colors you used for your flowers! I've used Dreamweavers before but they sure didn't come out as pretty as your project! TFS!

WOW....wish I could come and play at your house!!! STUNNING!
I wanna pack my bags and come with Linda and play at your house too! This is beautiful, Carla! Love how you snipped out those daisy's and your background is fabulous!!!
I love this BG technique. I bought a couple new stencils a few weeks ago and the glossy paste is next on my list.
A little history lesson, this is reminiscent of when they used to do the wall murals back in the 1800s.
Wow Carla, this looks like something fun to try. Love the way the background looks against the flowers!
Simply gorgeous, Carla! XOXO
Oh My Goodness that is one beautiful card my friend!!!!
