It's a new technique I learnt. You take 3 different ink pad colors and pounce some ink onto different areas of a non porous surface and mist each color with water. I use the glass from my SU Circle Cutter. Then using a finger dauber, dab into one color and pounce randomly onto your stamp, repeating with each color. Then lightly mist your stamp with water and then stamp onto white cardstock.
The colors I used for the image are Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint. Peeled Paint is the same color as SU's Old Olive.
After the image dried, I lightly adhered it to Old Olive and ran it thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
To create the border behind I used the SU background stamp, French Filigree. I added the colors the same way as on the main image. Then I cut it down to 2 inches. I wish more of the stamped colors showed thru.
The center is created using Nestibilites Lacey Ovals with the center cut out to show the background image. I decided to add silver gems instead of colored flower centers. just to dress it up a bit more.
I've taken a couple new classes at work and I'm so anxious to share the techniques with you. Thanks for visiting me today, you know how much I appreciate it.
Flowers are Marina Mist, Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum with Old Olive leaves. I don't have a tutorial for the flowers on this card. Just glued the layers together with Crystal Effects/Glossy Accents.
Question to those of you that changed your camera settings to Museum… did it work for you as well as it did me?

Noteworthy: All my Tutorials are now linked to Google Docs. So feel free to click and print away!!! Enjoy!
