Punch Art Flowers

Edited to add Hydrangea Tutorial link:   Hydrangea / Lilac Tutorial
Okay, I want you to guess what my inspiration was for this card.  I'll give you a hint… look up at the top part of your monitor… do you see it?  Okay, look up one more time… its my blog header and sidebar pretties.  lol
Here's my Punch Art Flowers card…
Punch Art Flowers, Charms, Stick Pin, White, Ribbon, Carla's Scraps (10)
Punch Art Flowers, Charms, Stick Pin, White, Ribbon, Carla's Scraps (3)
Punch Art Flowers, Charms, Stick Pin, White, Ribbon, Carla's Scraps (5)
Did you notice my colors in my pictures… they are the actual colors of the card.  I am so proud.  I actually read, not skimmed my camera manual.  Low light conditions in my camera equal the Museum Setting.  Then after I selected Museum, it let me choose the light bulbs I have in my studio.  Who'd of thought.  I don't even need sunshine coming thru my window.  I decided to buy a new camera, then I thought no, lets read the manual one more time.  So like a man, when all else fails read, don't skim.
I hope my card inspires you today.  Here's the supplies if you'd like to create one like it.
  • Tiny Tags Stamp Set
  • Flirtatious DSP (on the inside)
  • Whisper White – Wisteria Wonder – Perfect Plum – Pink Pirouette – Wild Wasabi – Certainly Celery Cardstock
  • I added a little distressing to some of the flowers with the same color ink pad and finger dauber
  • Punches
    • SU 5 Petal
    • SU Trio Flowers (retired, of course)
    • Martha 5 Petal (purple flower layer) IMGP4475

Carla - there is no one quite like you when it comes to creating beautiful punched flowers. Your card is gorgeous. The layout is lovely and does look very much like your banner - but it has so much more depth & texture. You have amazing fingers my friend!

Wow this card is a show-stopper, love all those teeny tiny flowers oh my the work involved, but oh so lovely. Congrat's too on your picture taking, if only we'd all read the directions, right? Great attention to detail once again, love the butterfly's body too.

If I were the recipient of this card I'd frame it and keep it forever and count myself so lucky to have such an artiste as a friend! You really are amazing - and you must have the patience of Job! I am going to try to make this one for a friend who is going through a lot right now - hopefully it turns out even half as beautiful as yours!
