Flowers 'n Lace with a new Base… lol

I love to find new card base styles, you know, like the gate fold and such.  I found this one on the Great Impressions Stamp of the Month board at work.  The card base is 6 1/2 across by 5 1/4 tall, scored at 2 1/2.  It fits your Medium SU Envelopes or any A-2 envelope perfectly.  Of course mine doesn't as I added Mulberry Flowers to mine.  So I popped mine in a clear box.

Here's the card I was telling you about a week or so ago.  I used Graphic 45 papers, from the Baby and Bride Collection, called Endless Love.  It's a peachy color, that of course my photo taking skills doesn't show.

I created a little belly band to hide the flowers so they were a surprise to the recipient, when opened.

and of course the inside.  The little lonely flower on the right is what keeps the front closed.  It tucks right in with the flowers on top.

My supplies were so easy today…  I used the MS Butterfly Punch, Whisper White Cardstock, SU Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Paper, Lace, Pearls and Mulberry Flowers from my stash.  I will finish the inside specifically for whoever I give this too.  I have an upcoming wedding, so it might go to her.

Thru my blog visiting, I've seen so many soft, gorgeous cards and they were all my inspiration!  So thank you!  Its Labor Day here in the U.S. and I hope everyone has an awesome day!!

Upcoming:  I have my Alligator card done and I will be posting it soon.  It turned out so cute.  I've been thinking of what to do for my Christmas Cards this year and I ended up buying 3 new dies.  I hope to get some samples made soon.  I'll probably skip right over Halloween as I can't find any pumpkin stamps I like.  Maybe I'll just look thru my stash and see if I have any good oldies.

Noteworthy:  I have deleted my Scribd account, so any tutorials or notes I have there, the links will no longer work. Just email me and I'll send them to you. I am looking for a free, easy to use and download place to host my .pdf tutorials. If you know of any, please send it to me

Carla,
This isn't a card, it's a gift! It looked beautiful in the box, but wow, when out it is beyond gorgeous. Love the flowers and how the one inside holds the card closed.
Hugs, Lisa
