PPA 100 with loads of Blog Candy!!!

This is a very special week for us at the PPA, we are celebrating our 100th Challenge with Blog Candy.  Playing at PPA this week is also your entry to win an amazing jackpot of blog candy - something from every member of the Design Team!  Show us your favorite technique this week and you could be the winner.  Be sure to check out the DT’s blogs for their blog candy offering.

Our Challenge today is to use your favorite technique.  I chose coloring and embroidery today.  My favorite technique depends on the mood I’m in.  I actually had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do for the 100th PPA Challenge.

PPA 100, Embroidery and Flowers, Carla's Scraps (2)

Using the new Hostess DSP, Cheerful Treat I created this card.  There are so many gorgeous colors in this DSP, I just love it.  Below you can see the close up of the embroidery.

Using a stick pin, I just went around the vine and into the center of the flowers and poked a hole.  I did the running stitch on the vine and added French Knots to the flowers and to some of the random dots along the edge.  I just love running my fingers over this image with the dimension the embroidery gives.

Another beautiful card as if the stamping and coloring weren't enough creativity, but then you add in the embroidery. Such a delicate look and your stitching is perfection. Wonderful card to celebrate PPA's 100th challenge, thanks for the blog candy too, hope I have a chance, gotta put the thinking cap on.
