It’s the PPA Celebrity Color Challenge 79

I hope you join us this week for the Pals Paper Arts Celebrity Color Challenge.  Our Guest Designer is Ashley Cannon Newell.  Please take some time to check out her amazing creations. 
These colors were challenging me something fierce.  But, I finally got my card created.  I went thru tons of scraps before I figured out my design.  I already had the flowers created, so I knew I had to use those.   

The Sweet Peas are created using the Tutorial at Crafty Maria’s Stamping World.  

You all know my love of flowers and I’ve wanted to create these Sweet Peas Punch Art Flowers created with the Butterfly Punch since seeing them way back.  They are so easy to do and I wanted to thank Maria for sharing her tutorial. 
I thought a little bit of eyelet lace fit perfectly with these old time flowers.  Mom said she’s loved them since she was a little girl.  I planted her some a few years back, she just loved watching them grow and they smell so good!!!  I will have to plant her some more this year too.

Upcoming projects... I have lots of goodies from the SAB and Woodland Walk DSP.  A little Golf Companion I made for my Dad for his birthday.  Plus a couple of flowers from the new Blossom Petals Punch.  I’ll probably have an extra day or two off this week if that snow storm hits as intended, so I’ll have even more goodies created to share.  *smile*   I love snow days, reminds me of being in school!!!  Heck, I still think I need to go buy new clothes every fall.  lol
