It’s time for another Margaret Moody Sketch Challenge over at the PPA!!! Get ready, its such an awesome sketch...
Here is my version of Margaret's sketch...
I broke out my Color Coach and picked colors I would never normally pick. As you can see I used Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.... not two of my favorite colors. But I did make sure to include two colors I really liked, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. This card has turned out to be one of my favorites. Oops, looks like I lined a White envelope instead of a Very Vanilla.... there I go again. As Mom would say, its the sign of a busy mind, not my age.
I punched out my flowers. placed them on a piece of foam and ran my stylus around them, to soften the paper so they would curl up and pop off the background paper. They were adhered with a mini glue dot over the stamped flower.
the inside is Very Vanilla, just doesn’t look that way here...

I used Whisper White, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight to re-create Silke’s card. I had a bow problem in the original pictures, so when I fixed it to retake the photo, I lost the envelope... so as you will see there are two different envelopes in the pictures. I pulled one from another card because I forgot the envelope was in the picture below. Why didn’t I just retake the photo? Because after one thousand, five hundred and thirty-three photos later, I had to enlist the help of my man, the guy with the addiction to his recliner, to help me with my camera settings. Did it help? No.

Circle of Friendship Retired
I’m picturing a Pumpkin Patch and lots of Sunflowers behind that white fence. So I decided to create Fall Card with a Sunflower for you today, along with my Punch Art Sunflower Tutorial.
Doing this will alleviate your sunflower from looking like a Pinwheel, the petals all going in the same direction. Taking your 1” Circle in Early Espresso, burnish the edges and center in Basic Black. Add good adhesive to back of your circle, I used Red Line tape, being sure I covered the entire circle. Now layer your petals all around, adjusting to the same height and overlapping each petal just a bit. Don’t press down hard to seal, you’ll do that after you make sure they are lined up. Add more Red Line tape after assuring the first layer of petals is all lined up, then add your second layer of petals, centered behind the first row.
Taking your 1” Scallop Circle punch, punch one out of the Textured Early Espresso and attach it to the sticky corner of a Post-it. Insert that back into your Scallop Circle Punch, line it up about half way and punch it into an oval shape.
