Its a Jolly Holiday Christmas

I thought I’d write up a quick post and show you a picture of all the Christmas Cards I made using the Jolly Holiday DSP.  I’ve posted each one individually, but I thought they looked so cool all grouped together.  I hope you do, too.

Jolly Holiday Christmas Cards 2010 P

Actually, I been in a slump lately.  I have all those Antibacterial and Lotion Holders to finish and I just can’t get into it.  I even tried making a “purple” card and I have had no luck at all with that.  I even paid full price for a cardmaking magazine.  That was worthless.  I’ve colored until I’m blue in the face and nothing  helps!!!  I surfed and surfed the blog world.  Everything I seen was gorgeous, did that help?  Nope.  So, I thought I’ll post about it and then maybe get some sympathy and then I’ll feel better.  *smile*

I just hate it when creativity dries up.  What do you do to get your mojo back?  Leave me a comment and let me know, I’ll try anything!!!

Oh, wanna see a cat fight?  Annie’s in the back and Ricky is sittin’ in front...

IMGP2513

Ricky decided he wanted to lay on the table too.

IMGP2511

Annie says that ain’t happen!  But if you notice he’s gettin’ in position to get her.

IMGP2510

Yup, there he goes, he’s in such big trouble.

IMGP2509

Annie says, it’s my turn big boy!!!

IMGP2508

Yeah, thats Annie on top.

IMGP2507

Ricky says, I don’t like that little girl, IMGP2506

I’m out of here!!!

My battery went dead in the camera right after the above shot, or you’d of seen Annie taking a bath, all alone.  Ain’t nobody gonna win a fight with her.  They are such a hoot.  Annie and Ricky are brother and sister.  Annie’s the one that likes to get in on the picture taking of my cards.

I hope you leave me a comment and let me know how you get your mojo back, I’d love that.  Make it an awesome day!!!  Hugs,

You are singing my song, Sistah! I'm totally obsessed with stamping but........I have loads of brand new sets that haven't even been inked yet. I've been "slumpin' " for a couple of months now. Usually helps when I'm making something for someone else and not myself. I've been swamped at work, so that has been my creativity culprit killer lately. Definitely need some snappy idea to jar my stampin' juices Ü LUV your creations!!

Nothing like a cat fight to start my day - you are a hoot! And your mojo is just fine - probably took a trip to the shore for the holiday weekend and will return rarin' to go! Wish I had so many beautiful Christmas cards made!

WOW! I hear you! My room is filled with lots of new toys and I just can't motivated! One thing I did was make cute little reindeer pins out of the owl punch and will bring them to work to day to share with everyone! I am hoping with everyone oohing and aahing that it will spark me to get stamping!!!
Love your kitties!

Loved each card separate but I DO like to see them grouped. All so pretty. The cat fight is too funny.

I try to case someone or find a new way to use a stamp set. This sometimes help. Good luck finding your mojo. These cards are stunning!

Mojo leaving is a real bummer. When mine leaves, I know it's because I have overdrafted on my creativity and forgotten to balance it out with fun just for me. We crafters tend to think it all has to be done now, and we stress. So my Rx is to do something just for you...flip through a favorite catalog, watch a movie or dance! A song, a pic in the catalog, or something in the movie gets the balance positive and then the mojo flows again. But, I might just add that your mojo is wonderful. I love getting your feeds and admiring your work. Now, go do something fun!!!

Hi Carla, your cards are great...sometimes I look through the cards at the newsagency and the dollar shops to get ideas...I loved the cat movie...I loooove cats and can't wait to have another one when we move into our next home.

{{{{{{Carla}}}}}}}}} I, too, have had times when I've lost my mojo. I think time and doing something other than paper crafting helps sometimes. Thanks for the cat photos--hilarious!

When I lose my Mojo, I sometimes do a sketch challenge. It gets you thinking outside my comfort zone and gets me thinking about the challenge. The sketch gives me a starting point, rather than starting with nothing!!

Oh, I love them all grouped together too! It looks great! Love the photos of your kitties fighting! How funny! :)

I think the holidays take away our mojo a wee bit. Sketches seem to help me get started or even just CASEing a card that I like. OMGosh, your kitties are so darn cute and funny! You're such the photographer! Thanks for a good laugh tonight!

Ah, Annie...Gotta love a cat named Annie! As for lost Mojo...I take a break. Mojo is a funny thing. Sometimes it just has to take a vacation to rejuvenate itself. And then, when you least expect it, it will come marching back in the door, with a suitcase full of ideas. Trust me...my Mojo has been around the world by now, but he always returns!

Carla, you could have fooled me that your mojo has left you! These cards together are just about perfect. What I do to get my mojo back is to actually leave off the crafts for a day and go out and have a nice lunch by myself. I bring a good book, order something scrumptious, and then I feel the mojo start to flow! XOXO

Hey Carla, I hope your MOJO is up and running by now. Love love love your cards and wish I had more cards done for Christmas but at least my baking is pretty much done and thank God I did Christmas swaps to help me out sending cards. LOL! Now to get all my SU stuff packed up to go with me to Ia so I can finish them up since we leave for home Tuesday! Hope you have a great Christmas and I hope to get some of those lotion holders done for my sisters for Christmas! TFS all the details! God Bless! Bev www.stampingwithbev.blogspot.com

Your cards are so beautiful, I find it hard to believe you are in a slump. I spend lots of time in slumpland so then I usually pick up my embroidery until inspiration returns. Checking out other blogs helps too.
