Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge

It’s time for another Margaret Moody Sketch Challenge over at the PPA!!!  Get ready, its such an awesome sketch...  PPA 66

Here is my version of Margaret's sketch...PPA 66 Sketch (3)

I broke out my Color Coach and picked colors I would never normally pick.  As you can see I used Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.... not two of my favorite colors.  But I did make sure to include two colors I really liked, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.  This card has turned out to be one of my favorites.  Oops, looks like I lined a White envelope instead of a Very Vanilla.... there I go again.  As Mom would say, its the sign of a busy mind, not my age.  PPA 66 Sketch (2)

I punched out my flowers. placed them on a piece of foam and ran my stylus around them, to soften the paper so they would curl up and pop off the background paper.   They were adhered with a mini glue dot over the stamped flower.

PPA 66 Sketch

the inside is Very Vanilla, just doesn’t look that way here...

Carla I love that stamp set and use it often especially for sympathy cards. Also love those colors and your card is beautiful. I especially like the touch of pearls on the flowers. So soft looking. Great job on the sketch.
