Punch Art Bunny Card

Here’s the card I promised you yesterday that goes with my Punch Art Bunny Pillow Treat...Carla's Punch Art Bunny (6)

I think this is by far the most favorite card I’ve made for Paige.  To do the background.  Cut 1” strips from 3 different pieces of DSP.  Then on your card front, draw a pencil line from corner to corner.  Line up and adhere your first piece to that line and continue.  I cut the overlap off after applying each strip.  You could do it all at the end.  Tip:  Brush the overlapped pieces with Baby Powder or Corn Starch to keep all the overlap pieces from adhering themselves onto something you can’t get them back off of.

The product I used today...

  • Punch Art Bunny Tutorial
  • Shades of Spring DSP 117160
  • Pawsitively Prints DSP 118060
  • Scallop Edge Punch 112091
  • Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch
  • Brocade Blue Ribbon 109057
  • White Candy Dots

I saw this style of card in a magazine I was browsing at work Tuesday night.  I was on my lunch.  *smile*  I have no idea the name of the book or the creator of the card design.  But I loved it.

Here again is the inside...Carla's Punch Art Bunny (5)

And here is the completed set...Carla's Punch Art Bunny for Paige

What an adorable bunny! I just wanted to let you know that Kelly(Stamp 2 Spend hostess) sent me here to case one of your cards. I will be posting it up on my blog later today, but it's in my SCS gallery right now :) Thanks for the inspiration!
