Here’s the inside of my anniversary card. The 40 enclosed in the circle are some older stamps I’ve had for awhile. The gems on the outside of my card can be purchased just about anywhere.
I usually use vellum envelopes to mail my cards, but I wanted to give Michelle an option, so I decorated the inside flap of a Very Vanilla envelope with DSP to match the card.
Very Vanilla Envelopes #107300

Beautiful card, Carla, and a wonderful take on the sketch challenge. Perfect idea for a fall anniversary card!
Absolutely gorgeous - wonderful interpretation of the sketch. The rust and mustard are perfect against the green background. You are something else!!
Beautiful use of DSP!
I love the layout and the way you used the patterned papers... perfection. The brads are an excellent touch. Hope you're doing well, Carla! ;)
I love the way you made each of these DSP patterns work together! Your friend will love this card!
Wonderful card, Carla! I especially love the layout and the brads! Of course, you always make the inside of the card just as special as the outside! And, you used one of my favorite DSPs!
Carla - I think you nailed the color scheme, that's for sure. And I love the clean lines. Beautiful job.
Mike

Join us for our next challenge on Thursday, October 1, 2009.
Just lovely. I would like to know how you (& Mary, too) cut the DP to fit inside the envelope so nicely. I am sure you guys have a little trick which I probably have forgotten about!!
