Get Well Wishes

DSCF4885 copyDSCF4892 copyJust poppin in today with a little Get Well Wishes Card.  No one is sick, thankfully.  But, I just received my Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set yesterday and had to use it.  This stamp set will be available, tomorrow July 1st.  You’re gonna love it.  Its a set of 24 greetings… from Happy Graduation, Just for You, Sweet Treats, I’m so sorry, Happy Retirement, and so on.

I started with Tea Party DSP (Designer Series Paper), the polka dot print from Certainly Celery DSP, Pretty in Pink Cardstock, and Certainly Celery Cardstock.  I used Pretty in Pink as my base and layered the elements from there.  The scalloped circles were embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder from the Cuddlebug and cut out using the round scalloped Nestibilities.  Adding the pretty pink bow last.  For the flower on the front of the card, since I didn’t buy the matching stamp set, I cut out three flowers from the DSP.  First cutting out the full flower, the second cut was just the middle and center, following that I just cut out the center.  I then cut between each petal and used a large stylus ball to gently shape the petals, rubbing the ball on the back of the paper on a foam mat.  I layered them on top of each other using Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430.  See side view pic below…

DSCF4893 The inside of the card is of a flower embellishment I found in my “pink” drawer.  The leaves were cut out with the Sizzlits Die from Stampin UP, Little Leaves #114511.  I stamped the “get well wishes” onto Pretty in Pink  cardstock using the Certainly Celery stamp pad and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.  Tip:  I try to always emboss the sentiments with clear embossing powder, I believe this really makes it pop off the page.  I then punched out the sentiment using the Word Window Punch #105090.
